Sharpley Street Trees

Planted in the 1960’s, there are approximately 800 street trees in Sharpley.  They have become the trademark of our Wilmington neighborhood.  The street trees are in DelDot’s right-of-way, but our civic association has elected to care for these trees as it is believed that their value is intrinsic to the neighborhood.

Sharpley homeowners enjoy:

  • a more walkable neighborhood

  • improved air quality

  • energy savings

  • increased property values

  • and a beautiful neighborhood in which to live.

A street tree committee has been established to care for and maintain the streetscaping of our neighborhood. Use the pull down menu under Sharpley’s Street Trees to keep informed of the committee’s work and latest updates.
